Alexis Henning

Alexis (Lexi) Rain Henning, a beautiful sweet and loving 9 year old angel was called home to heaven on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was preceded by Debra (her grandmother) and Bobby (her great-grandfather). She is loved and survived by Stephanie (her mother), Joshua (father), three brothers, her sister Kayden, Richard (her grandfather) and other family members and is also loved by many others.

Lexi's light always shined a little brighter, her heart was a little bigger and her joy was a little sweeter than all the rest. She was a "borrowed angel" only meant to stay for a little while. Just long enough to show us how to view the world from a different point of view, not to see the bad but only take in the good, not live with anger or greed but to only give joy and light. We didn't get to keep her as long as we wanted but through her we've learned no matter what the world throws at us to always return it with love and joy. She was the light in the darkness, unjaded by anger or fear, always bright always willing to give love without expecting anything in return. Words can never describe the beauty in her soul.

Her smile and laughter was infectious, no matter whom a person was and their state of mind, she was able to make a person smile and instantly touch their heart. People say the eyes are the window to one's soul and everyone could look at Lexi and see great joy in her eyes because that was her joyful soul sparkling through.

A Celebration of Lexi's life will be held in June. Details will be forthcoming through this website.
