Andrew Allen Mezei

Andrew Allen Mezei of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the late Anna and Andrew Mezei.

Andrew loved movies of any kind and any era. He loved gardening and canning his produce and then giving it to friends.

Andrew graduated ln 1967 and that summer went into the Air Force. After basic training he went to Vietnam where he spent one tour and then was stationed in California until his honorable discharge.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Mezei, and mother, Anna Mezei whom passed away on January 3, 2025. Less than a week before him.

He leaves behind a brother, Wayne Mezei, three sisters, Joyce Blanke (Alan), Dale Alfredo (Ronald) and Diana Mitchell (Daniel), and 4 nephews, Ryan and Scott Alfredo and Dylan and Darren Mitchell. He also leaves some of the best friends a person can have.

A graveside service will be held at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, Tennessee, 37221, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at ten o’clock in the morning. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
