Anne Lorraine Luther

Anne Lorraine Luther, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away December 17th, 2024, at the age of 93. She was born September 2nd,1931, and graduated from St. Cecelia Academy. She was preceded in death by both her mother Agnes Winkler and her brother Austin Hooper. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years Joe H. Luther, 3 children, Kristina (Tom) Chapman, Martin (Martie) Horn, and Russell (Georgie) Horn, 2 stepchildren, Wade Luther, Minty (John) Parrett, and a sister, Rita Joy Brunson. She also claimed 4 step-grandchildren, Dorsey Luther, Chris Hill, Higgie Bowen, and Ashley Bowen. 

She was a talented seamstress, creating anything from bedspreads, curtains and quilts to stylish clothes and wedding dresses. She was an accomplished cook and volunteered her time for many years at Bellevue Baptist Church helping to plan and prepare the church's weekly dinner for 100 or more people. Anne was a born homemaker, and loved her family and friends, but above all she cherished her relationship with God. She will be sadly missed here on earth. But you can bet that she is with her God, and if He is lucky, she is making Him a quilt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 12:00PM until 1:00PM at Bellevue Baptist Church located at 7400 Highway 70 in Nashville. A Memorial Service will begin at 1:00PM with Brother Mike Shelton officiating.
