ARNOLD "STEVE" GARLAND, 69, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Lakeshore Heartland. Steve was born in 1947 in Nashville, and lived here his entire life.

Steve was retired from the United Methodist Publishing House and was a member of Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ. He loved to travel and was a loyal fan of the Tennessee Titans and the Atlanta Braves. Steve was truly an inspiration, and loved by everyone who met him.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Jenny Mai Garland, and his sister Betty Ehresman.

He is survived by his nieces, Amy Ehresman Reha (David), Robin Lamb, and Sonya Adams, and Brother-in-Law Robert Ehresman (Cindy).

A celebration of Steve's life will be held at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 3, at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Family and friends can gather to share their memories of Steve beginning at 11:00 am until the time of the service.
