Age 78, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Eula Mae Meeks; brother, Johnny Meeks.
Barbara is survived by her children, James Randall (Carolyn) Tigue, Douglas Eugene (Patsy) Tigue, John Michael (Kathy) Tigue, Harold Edward (Yolanda) Tigue Jr., and Jeffery Lynn (Melisa) Tigue; grandchildren, Jody Madewell, Zachary Tyler Tigue, Kristina Tigue and Christian Tigue; 7 great grandchildren, her loving companion of many years, Larry Mullens; sister, Stella (Bob Garrison) Marsh; nieces, Vicki Marsh and Johni Meeks; nephew, Royce Marsh.
Barbara was a member of Highland Park Church in Nashville and held the highest honor with the WOTM, the College of Regents degree.
A visitation will be held in Nashville on Wednesday from 3PM until 8PM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte. Ms. Chambers will then be taken to High Funeral Home in McMinnville, TN for a visitation on Thursday from 3PM until 8PM, with a Celebration of Life on Friday 10AM, in the High Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dale Robble will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery in McMinnville.
