Benny W. Farrar- Age 72, passed away January 3, 2016. He worked for the Ford Glass Plant for 48 years, and a member of the UAW. He enjoyed golfing and reading.
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Farrar. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dr. Chita Farrar; children, David (Roxanne) Harrison, Cindy Hulsey, Ashley Farrar, and Lisa Farrar; grandchildren, Candi Hill, Chris Hulsey, Kyle Clark, Andrew Harrison, Heather Harrison; great grandchildren, Mikayla Rodrigues, and Bradley Hill; brother in law, Dr. Michael (Janelle) Cisneros; sister in law, Pat Farrar.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 10:00am with Reverend Tom Gholson officiating. There will be a private family interment in Christ Church Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Nashville Humane Society.
Visitation with the Farrar family will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and on Thursday from 9:30am until the service time at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike.
