Mrs. Betty Bell Allen, age 86, of Nashville passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born March 22, 1931 in Nashville to the late Paul and Louise Vaughn. Betty is also preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Lawrence Bell; her second husband, George Allen; and sisters, Dorothy Wade and Clara Ball.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Sunday School Teacher, Church Treasurer, Nurse and retired bookkeeper at Fifty Forward. She was very involved in giving to people in her church and community.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Travis Cain (Grady); son, Larry Bell (Barbara); grandsons, David, Paul and William Travis and Kristoffer Richards; granddaughters, Amanda and Brianna Bell; and great grandson, Grant Richards.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday evening and from 9:30 -10:30 am Saturday morning. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, March 3, 2018 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Mike Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Cemetery in White Bluff, Tennessee.
