Betty Dabbs

Dabbs, Betty Jean McCormick-age 77 of Hendersonville, TN went home to be with the lord on April 17, 2013. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois McCormick; sister, Barbara McCormick; brother, John McCormick. Mrs. Dabbs is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Sam Dabbs, Jr.; daughters, Lynn Dave Baker of Lakeland, FL and Kim Joe Dorris of Greenbrier, TN; grandchildren, Sammy & Shelby Dorris and Will & Christy Baker; and 3 great grandchildren. Betty was a past matron of Jere Baxter #343 Order of the Eastern Star in Madison, TN and the 1993 Grand Martha for the TN Grand Chapter. She retired in 2010 after 26 years of service from Sumner Regional Medical Center where she worked in the business office. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 20 at 12PM in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 Johnny Cash Pkwy, Hendersonville, TN 37075 with Rev. Randall Edmonson officiating and interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4PM-8PM and Saturday from 10AM until Service time. 615 824-3855
