Betty Moody

MOODY, Betty Ann Hows – Age 82 of Franklin, TN passed away on June 1, 2013 after a short illness at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Mrs. Moody is survived by her children, Suzanne Terry Thomas of Memphis, James M. Debbie Moody, Jr., Michael D. Moody, Sr., Stephen P. Denise Moody, Sr., all of Franklin; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James M. Moody, Sr., her parents, Howard B. and Clara Suddath Hows, Sr., and brother, Howard B. Hows, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:30 am, with Rev. Rick White officiating, and interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens where grandsons, Rob Thomas, Wes Thomas, Michael Dale Moody, Jr., Jimmy Moody, III, Scott Moody, and Stephen Moody, Jr. will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Burn Center, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Vanderbilt Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice. Visitation will begin on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 4pm-8 pm and continue on Tuesday from 10 am until service hour at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME 9090 Hwy. 100 Nashville, TN 615-646-9292.
