Bobby L. Matthews, Sr. - Age 80, passed away May 22, 2016. He was a hardworking father and grandfather. Also, he was known as one of the best drywallers in Nashville. Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Minnie Matthews; son, Bobby L. Matthews, Jr.; brother, Jerry Matthews; grandchildren, Anthony and Chris.

Survived by wife of 46 years, Sandra Cutrell Matthews; daughters, Pamela Matthews and Kathleen Matthews Olkowski; grandchildren, April, Daniel, Ashley, Destiny, and Chelsea; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Billy "Cotton" Matthews and Burley Matthews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 11:00am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with James Humphrey Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike
