Boyd Russell Edlin, a faithful Christian who is now in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father was born December 11, 1936 at home in Cumberland Furnace, TN. He left this earth on September 20, 2015 with family and friends gathered around him in the wonderful care of Alive Hospice. Russ is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Reba Lowe Edlin, and his devoted daughters Maria Lynne Edlin and Cathy Edlin Ivey. He is also survived by his brother and sister in law Ross and Darothy Edlin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be at West Harpeth Funeral Home Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 1 p.m.to 6 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following. His earthly remains will be cremated and scattered at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to A.R.E. the foundation to which he spent many years being a Grandpa Duck.
