Brenda Faye Meadows passed away peacefully on April 15th 2022 at her home in Ashland City surrounded by her loving family. She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, nana and friend. She was a devoted Christian and worshipped at New Bethel United Methodist Church. She was happily married to Willard for 51 years, she was his rock and sometimes boss. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as nana. Her greatest love was her family, they are proud to call her mom and nana. She shaped who they were and her memory will forever live through them. While Brenda’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a good way that honors her spirit. She is proceeded in death by her parents Mary Alice Foster and Dalton Hartley, brother Ronald “bubby”Hartley, brother-in-law Calvin Bell, and son-in-law Will Sonn. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband Willard Meadows, children Alycia (EJ) Fulton and Cindy Sonn, her sisters Jo Bell and Diane Hartley, her grandchildren Mikayla (Chase) Hutchinson, Bailey (Damian) Metcalf, Avery Fulton, Trey Sonn and Carolynn Sonn. She also leaves behind many cousins nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude and The Rescue Mission in Brenda Meadows honor.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will be from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 also at the Funeral Home with a service to begin at 12:00PM in the chapel.
