Brenda Charlene Netherton

Brenda Charlene Netherton, age 66, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Louise Russell, siblings Robert “Robbie” Russell, Vickie Harris, Wayne Russell, and her aunt Lois Cain.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Steve Netherton, her children Tori Shaver (Charles), Sarah Kee (Dustin), Alan Hargrove (Natasha) and Chris Netherton (Lydia), siblings Troy Russell, Danny Russell, Juanita Toungette, and Lisa Neely, as well as 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 god daughter, and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda is described by those who love her as a soulmate, giving, a true best friend, beautiful, and to many as Mama.

She will be remembered for her love of keeping the score at Pops softball games, working (but more so her patients), Farmville, having her family gatherings, her “Gummy movies” and going to the beach.

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday November 16, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday November 17, 2023 from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. All will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home at 6962 Charlotte Pike Nashville, TN 37209. Burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens 9090 Hwy 100 Nashville, TN 37221.
