On November 29th, Bryce's nearly 17 year journey came to end. He was embraced with love during his last few peaceful moments. Rich had been lying in bed with him while Melanie was getting his medications drawn up. Very shortly after trading places, Melanie kissed Bryce and told him "goodnight". He slipped peacefully away.
Throughout his life, Bryce touched everyone who met him. Be it his curly hair that begged to be played with or his captivating bright blue eyes, everyone who saw him felt compelled to meet him. Once someone met him, they always remembered him.
Bryce taught us all how to appreciate the small moments in life, the moments that really matter. He pushed his parents to be better people and motivated them to find inventive ways to enrich his life. In his short life, Bryce has travelled to China, Seattle, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Florida for therapies. He swam in the ocean, went camping, rode roller coasters, Ferris wheels, merry-go-rounds, horses, and took quite a few rides in a rowing shell. His short life was filled love and adventure.
He has touched more lives than we could have ever imagined.
His two younger brothers, Cole and Reece, will miss him dearly. We will always love you, Brycie.
