Burnice Wesbrooks

Alonzo Burnice Wesbrooks, age 69 of Gallatin, TN was born June 16, 1940 and died August 12, 2009. Burnice Wesbrooks was a minister in the Church of Christ for over fifty years, and was currently serving the Tyree Chapel Church of Christ in Franklin, Kentucky. He dedicated his life in humble service to God and his fellow man, taking a special interest in training and mentoring young ministers. He was preceded in death by parents, Homer and Docie Wesbrooks, and parents-in-law, William and Lorene Richardson. Brother Wesbrooks is survived by his beloved family: cherished wife of 42 years, Linda Richardson Wesbrooks; brother, Earl Aline Westbrooks; foster-sister, Ladye Frank Ezell Doug Sanders; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Carolyn and Jerry Wilkinson, Glenn and Beverly Richardson, Peggy and Mike Swann; eleven nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the White House Church of Christ with Bro. Matthew Morine officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Municipal Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 14, 2009, from 6 PM until 9 PM at Gallatin Funeral Home and again on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Tyree Chapel Preacher Training Fund, 2271 Tyree Chapel Road, Franklin, KY 42134.
