Carl Davids

Carl Robert Davids, 96 of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
He was preceeded in death by his daughter Judy Mason, his son, Jerry Davids and his grandson, Dale Davids.
He is survived by his loving wife of 77 years, Jessie Waldine Davids, a daughter Diane Davids, two grandsons, Steve (Kaye) Slater, Bryan Slater, one granddaughter, Sherrie Davids, five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.
He operated Davids Body Shop and Wrecker Service in West Nashville for many years before joining the Nashville Police Department in 1959.
He retired from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department in 1989 after 30 years of service.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park with David Estes officiating.
