Carleen Whitley- Age 59, passed away February 12, 2015. She was employed 30 years with the Metro Fire Department, and a lifelong member of Barth Vernon United Methodist Church. Survived by her husband of 41 years, Gary Whitley; children, Tanya (John) Stoner and Tony (Irene) Whitley; parents, Carl & Gloria Knight; grandchildren, Kayla, Megan, and Anna Wentz, and Jayden Stoner; Jakob and Caroline Whitley; brothers, Joe (Vana) Knight and Carl (Terry) Knight, Jr., several extended family members and her beloved dog, Sophi. A celebration of life will be held on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2015, at 11am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Alex Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
