Carolyn Chapman

Carolyn Kibbons Chapman – age 84, passed away peacefully, December 16, 2021, at her home in Pegram, TN.

She was born on May 9th 1937 in Paris , Tn. She graduated from Grove High school in 1955, married the love of her life, and began her family. They moved to Pegram, Tn. in 1963, where they continued raising their children, making it their permanent home.

Mrs. Chapman is preceded in death by her son, Timothy R. Chapman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jimmie Louis Chapman; children, Stephen Chapman (Sherry), Jennifer Chapman Kaufman (Phillip), David Chapman (Diane); grandchildren, Misty Heitman (Michael), Carrie Adams, Rachael Mahan, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was a beloved wife and best friend to her adoring husband, and a much loved mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be forever remembered for her great love and devotion to her family and to her Lord and Savior. She conducted her life with selflessness and humility always considering others first and herself last, even to her last day. She taught her family by example, gently leading her children in their faith by her daily walk fervent prayer.  Her laugh and her smile were like sunshine, brightening the darkest of days, giving assurance and hope to those around her. She will be sorely missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of her family who have loved her so dearly, until the day we are reunited in eternity, never to be separated again.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at Bluff View Memorial Gardens in Kingston Springs, TN with Rev. Crystal Petty officiating.
