Carolyn Jean Childress Owen, age 65, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home on September 3, 2017. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, a wonderful sister and friend. Mrs. Owen will be forever loved and missed by so many people.

Mrs. Owen is preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Samuel Childress and granddaughter, Jennifer Owen. She is survived by her children, Thomas Ervin (Ashley), Mark Owen (Christina Weston). Grandchildren, Austin, Zach, Tyler and Samantha Owen, Dallas Brooks, and Kierstin, Kolby, and Kayley Ervin.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 12, from 10:00am until 1:00pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow. Burial will be in Joelton Hills Cemetery.
