Mr. Charles Franklin Hall, Sr. - Age 96, passed from this life on Friday, July 24, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Nashville. He was a loving and charming man known for his honesty, charm and feistiness. Some of his interests were growing a garden, which included growing tomatoes , roses and many other vegetables and flowers.; his love for church and The Bible, and of course shopping at Walmart. His favorite pleasures were coffee, buttermilk, ANYTHING CHOCOLATE, Walmart Chicken, salads, and Watermelon. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elnora; daughters, Emma Hall and Patsy Vadner; grandchildren, Christina Hall and Nikki Hall He is survived by children, William T. Hall, Judith Kaulfurst, Dorothy Hall, Charles Hall, Jr., Robert L. Hall, Sherry Douglas, Terry L. Hall and Candice Hall; 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren, and a host of other extended family members and friends. A celebration of Life will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 10:00am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Adam Pace officiating. Interment will follow in Sweeney Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Saturday after 9:00am at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike; (615) 352-9400.
