Claude Jones

Claude (Red) Jones passed away on March 20th, 2023, at the age of 71. He was born on March 2nd, 1952, in Jasper, Tennessee, to parents, Birdie and Lennard Jones. He was a loving family man and a proud member of the West Nashville community. He worked for Phoenix granite and marble for over 20 years.

Claude is preceded in death by his parents, Birdie and Leonard Jones; His brothers, Jimmy Jones, Billy Jones, JL Jones, Harley Jones, Clifford Jones, Jay C Jones; and his sisters, Beulah Jones, Helen Jones, and Sheila Jones.

Claude leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Dorothy Faye Jones; His children, Bobby Counter, Barry Counter, Joey Counter, Leon Jones, Pamela Counter, Theresa Hunter; 15 special grandchildren; 27 special great-grandchildren; And one special great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home on March 28th, 2023, from 10-8pm and again on March 29th, 2023, from 10-1pm. A service will be held after visitation on March 29th at 1pm. Burial will follow the service at 2:30pm and will be at Harpeth Hills.
