Comer Eugene Harris - Age 77, passed away January 26, 2016, at the Alive Hospice Residence. He was a lifelong Sylvan Park resident. He retired from Textron Aerostructures. He also worked for over 20 years at the Simpson's Gulf. Comer enjoyed his comic collection and Western Movies. He loved trips to Daytona Beach. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Harris and Daisy Barnhilll; sister, Anita Harris. Survived by wife of 58 years, Evalina Roberts Harris; children, Ricky (Darlene) Harris, Donald (Regina) Harris, Janice Bunday, and Sherry (Danny) Mabry; grandchildren, Brian (Tiffany) Harris, Matthew (Amanda) Mabry, Stephen Harris, Daniel Harris, Christopher (Katelyn) Mabry, Roseanna Mabry, and Rachel Holloway; great grandchildren, Ethan Mabry, Brody Harris, and Maci Mabry; brother, Johnny Harris; beloved dog, Lucy; numerous family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at 12:00pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Dave Werner officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
