Connie Mayo

MAYO, Connie Moody – Age 88 years, passed away July 5, 2013. She was an amazing, loving Christian wife, mother and friend. She leaves behind her husband of almost 70 years, Frank G. Mayo; son, David N. Mayo; daughter, Frankie M. Patrick Williams; grandchildren, Neal Anna Mayo, Jennifer Dave Young, Brooke Douglas Word, Laura Lynn Andrew Stubbs, and Christopher Williams; great grandchildren, J.T., Jackson, Raini, Bowen and Josie Mayo, and Kate and Claire Young; brother, Jack Claudenia Moody, and sister in law, Eileen Moody. Connie taught the 3 year old Sunday School Class at Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ for over 30 years, and was also a kindergarten teacher at the church. She was also a lifetime member of Associated Ladies of Lipscomb. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4-7pm, at the West Harpeth Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at 2pm, at the Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, 5807 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209, with Brother Darrell Blankenship and Brother Clifford Dobbs officiating. Private family interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be: Neal Mayo, Dave Young, Douglas Word, Andrew Stubbs, Christopher Williams and Don Newsom. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Charlotte Heights Church of Christ.
