Daphene Mayo

Ola Daphene Mayo - Age 91, passed away August 9, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillie Marie Goodman and her husband of over 62 years, Fred Mayo, Jr. She is survived by her children, Paulette (Robert) Simms, and Fred Mayo, III.; grandchildren, Robert Simms, III, and Rebecca Gatewood; great grandchildren, Ava Grace Simms and Robert Wesley Simms. A few of her favorite things would be her coffee; and Wendell Smith's on Friday for Chicken and Dressing. She also loved walking in the Bellevue Mall. The Life Celebration service will be on Friday, August 15, 2014, at 11am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike;
