David Robert Dison

David Robert Dison of Pegram, Tn. passed away Jan. 1, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Joy and Gerald Dison. 

David enjoyed "old time rock and roll" music. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, boating, riding his "Harley", and driving his antique VW camper. He was a Life member of the VFW POST 1970, where he liked to spend a lot of time with fellow veterans and friends.

David enlisted in the army at the age of 17. He spent one tour of duty in Vietnam and was discharged 1971, he later became a high energy engineer, installing, repairing and maintaining linear accelerators for various hospital and cancer clinics.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Dison, his mother, Joy McCormack, brother, Mark McCormack, and his stepfather Bill McCormack.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 34 years, Ann, son, Zachary, daughter, Laura (James), brother, Billy McCormack (Lori), brother Tony McCormack (Debbie). He also leaves his beloved service dog, Sheila, 3 cats, and Rainbeau, his 23-year-old Conyer.

Services will be held at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetary, February 3, 2025, at 1p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VFW POST 1970, 7220 Charlotte Pk., Nashville, Tn
