David Randall Roberts (Boomer Sooner) passed away Friday, March 17, 2017. He was born November 18, 1961 and graduated from McGavock High School in 1980. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Clarence and Jackie Roberts. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patsy and John Apple; brothers, Michael (Julie) Roberts, Jayson Martin, Jay (Robin) Anderson; nieces Chelsea (William) Swader, Elizabeth Martin, and Grace Anderson; nephews, Blaise Roberts and Chandler Anderson; great nieces and nephews Aaliyah, Mariyah, and Quentin Roberts; extended family Tiffany (Myles) McIntosh; numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
Randy was an avid supporter of the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oakland Raiders. He also loved auto racing. Randy never met a stranger and you couldn't help but smile when you were with him.
He loved his family with all he had but the love for his nieces and nephews was immeasurable. Active and Honorary pallbearers will be his work family from Barry Plastics.
Family will receive visitors Sunday March 19, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday March 20, 2017 from 8:00 am until the Celebration of Life at 10:00 am at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
