SMITH, David Allen – Age 46, Nashville, September 19, 2009. David was born
in California and came to Nashville 2 years ago. He loved the people and the city of Nashville and found a home at Bellevue United Methodist Church. Survived by devoted parents Lloyd and Nancy Cahoon of Nashville and Richard A. Smith of Sonora, California, beloved daughter Bailey J. Smith of Palmdale, California, loving sister Stephanie Smith Martin Gary of Coarsegold, California, much loved aunts and uncles and 5 special cousins and his constant companion and nurse Max. Also survived by best friends Rich, George, Al and Tadd in California. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 10th Mountain Division. Additional thanks to the special people at Fresenius Dialysis Center, West Nashville and Alive Hospice and his caring friends at Bellevue United Methodist Church. Memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009, conducted by Reverend David Rainey and Reverend Gary Cornell at Bellevue United Methodist Church.
