David Joe Watson, Sr. - Age 56, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 10, 2014, after a courageous fight, with his family surrounding his side. Preceded in death by mother, Johnsie Troxel; father, Leo Watson; brother, Ricky Watson; sister, Linda Atchley. Survived by wife, Stephanie Watson; sons, David Joe (Sonja) Watson, Jr., Michael Wayne Watson, and Clifton Clouse; daughter, Rachel Watson; step daughters, Deann (Christopher) Janis and Heather (Clint) Woody; grandchildren, Austin, Deanna, Dalton, & Destiny Watson; Christian, Campbell & Alivia Janis, Paisley and Presley Woody; brother, Leo "Peanut" (Paulette) Watson; sister, Dianne "Sis" (David) Tapleschay. The Life Celebration service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014, at 10am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Nemo officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be: Callin All Bikers. A special thanks to Dr. Susan Briley, Tennessee Oncology, and Alive Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Alive Hospice.
