SHARP, Rev. D.L., age 83, Nashville, August 27, 2009. Born, July 18, 1926. Brother Sharp was the founding Pastor of Richland Free Will Baptist Church in Nashville, and the LaVergne Free Will Baptist Church in LaVergne, TN. He also pastored West Nashville Free Will Baptist Church and Radnor Free Will Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, E.L. and Elizabeth Sharp; brothers, Grady, Orville, Otis and Carl; sisters, Etoyle and Lela; great-grandchildren, Austin Watts and Sarah Jones. Survived by wife of 66 years, Sarah Sharp; daughters, Joyce Stuart Worthington, Judy Dallas Brown and Debbie William Davis; sisters, Ruth Ballard, Ida Mae Morgan and Ann Parker; grandchildren, Sandra, Darin, Amy, Rhonda, Ted and Brad; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be at 10 am, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Richland Free Will Baptist Church, 650 Westboro Drive, Nashville, TN with Rev. Darin Worthington and Rev. John Smith officiating. Pallbearers: Ted, Brad and Grant Davis, Brian and Jason Renfro and Ollie Hall. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation, Sunday, 1-8 pm and Monday, 10 am-1 pm and 6-8 pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home and Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Richland Free Will Baptist Church.
