Dorthea Daugherty

Dorthea Jean Daugherty, 79, passed away on November 30th, 2016

Dorthea was born on September 20, 1937 in Nashville, TN. She was a life-long member of West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, graduate of Cohn High School, and a proud retiree of BellSouth. She loved to read, loved her daily walks, and loved to learn, always clipping articles of "Life's stuff" for her family to read.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlis and Cornelia Wells; Sister Margaret Netterville, brothers, Pete and Tommy Wells.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Daugherty; daughter Tami Cantwell; son, Duane (Pamela) Daugherty; four grandchildren; Jill (DJ), Samantha, Shannon (Kevin), Chase; six great grandchildren; brother, Eddie Wells; sister in law, Jewel Wells; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be on December 10th, 11:00 a.m. at West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church; 6849 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209
