Dr. Fuqua

was born on April 8, 1934 and at age 82, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2016. Ann graduated East High School in 1951. She graduated from George Peabody College for Teachers in 1955, and then she earned her PhD from Vanderbilt University. She was a professor at Trevecca Nazarene University for 38 years, where she taught Biology, Chemistry, and Science. She was awarded the Status Emeritus. She had married her husband, Shannon on November 9, 1957. They have been members of St. John Methodist since 1961, where she was a very active member and was the founder and teacher of the Sans Cera Sunday School class. Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Fuqua. Survived by her husband, Shannon Fuqua; daughter, Julie Fuqua. A Graveside Service will be on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 2:00pm, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
