Edgar Matthew Richards, Jr. - Age 77, passed away December 20, 2017 in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Richards is survived by his loving wife, Nell Richards of 42, years; children, Phillip Richards, Lee Castell (Kim), Susan Miller; grandchildren, Jacob Harvey, James Horton; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Wyatt (Namon), Naomi Baker, Sonja Cagle (James); brothers, Gary Richards (Carolyn), Edward Richards (Jann), Ray Richards (Rhonda), Phil Richards (Vicki) and numerus nieces and nephews.
Ed loved golf, Atlanta Braves baseball and the Tennessee Titans. He loved being around his family and making everyone laugh. He spent 6 years in the Marines and loved going to the Moose Lodge. Ed also enjoyed going to the casino and you couldn't drag him out. Ed worked hard his entire life but the most important thing to him was his love for his family.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Friday December 22, 2017 with burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday from 8:30 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
