Edward L. Buquo, Jr. - Age 97, passed away March 11, 2018 in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Buquo is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Brady Buquo. Survived by his nieces and nephews; Bob McGowan (Peggy), Jo Ann Delmar (Joe), Jamie Stewart (Jimmy), Jim McGowan (Susie), L.G. Brunette, Jr. (Mary), Lou Ann Brown (Gary), Linda Rigsby, Jackie Lewan, Raymond Buquo (Bobbie), Gary Buquo (Sharon), Mary Frances Hanscomb (Doug), Karen Scott (Carl) Tom Gibson (Sharon).

Mr. Buquo retired from the Nashville Banner after 38 years of service and was a Deacon of the Baptist Church. He was also in the United States Army and received a Purple Heart.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation with the family will be held today from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nashville Rescue Mission.
