Edward "Buddy" Carilie Langham Jr., 60, of Nashville passed away on June 24, 2016. He was preceded in death by father, Edward Carilie Langham Sr. and mother, Bertha Morgan Langham; sister, Tonya Dawn Langham. He is survived by son, Daniel Langham; brother, Mark Langham (Gini); two grandchildren, Riley and Kylee Langham,; niece, Morgan Langham; two nephews, Trey and Christian Langham; friend, Linda Snell. Buddy volunteered to serve in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life, he was very proud of his military service. Following his military service, Buddy became a licensed cosmetologist until his retirement in 2012. He loved history, especially the Civil War era, playing guitar and fiddle and taking care of the grounds around the Westfield Condominium neighborhood. He also volunteered at the Carter House Historical Site as a tour guide, usually dressed in a Union or Confederate uniform. Visitation will be on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:30AM at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
