Ella Jane Powell- Age 89, entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2014. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church for over 77 years. She retired from the Methodist Publishing House. Preceded in death by husbands, T.L. Harris, TH Joy Powell. Survived by children, Donna Longuevan, Terry Wayne Harris, and Kathy Horton; grandchildren, David, Tonya, Trish, Tish, Michael, Michelle, Terri Jean, and Jeremy; great grandchildren, Kayla, Gary, Heaven, Cross, Lance, Deke, Rivers, Tyler, Colt, Andrew, and Savannah; great great grandchildren, Autumn, Meadow, and Silas. The Life Celebration service will be on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 11am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Dave Werner officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Grandsons, granddaughter and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday from 3-8pm, and Saturday one hour prior to the service at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike; 352-9400.
