Ellen Witt

Ellen (Poston) Witt of Nashville, TN, passed away on March 10th, 2022, at the age of 95. She was born on March 15th, 1926.

Ellen was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Hillwood Presbyterian church. She spent her time with her dog, Daisy, with whom she loved very much. She was also involved in community work with the organization Red Cross.

Ellen is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Kenneth Witt; and her son, David Witt. She leaves behind her loving son, Keith Witt of Los Angeles, California. Ellen also leaves a loving group of family members from her sister in St. Louis, Maui, and Plymouth Rock.

The family would like to recognize the caring attention shown by neighbors on Rodney Drive and the Hillwood area. Her life was enriched by her home nursing care provider, whose care turned into a lifelong friendship.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Humane Society of Davidson County, sent to 213 Oceola Ave, Nashville, TN 37209.
