Esther Marie Richardson

Esther Marie Richardson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on May 28 2024, in Nashville, TN. She was born on June 29, 1937, in Electra, TX, to the late John and Selma Bentley, Sr. Esther was a dedicated bookkeeper who worked tirelessly for many years before retiring from Rand McNally.

Remembered fondly for her kind and generous nature, Esther Marie Richardson cherished nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love extended not only to her family but also to her faithful canine companions. In her leisure time, she found joy in playing Bingo and Bridge.

Esther is survived by her loving son John Richardson (Daphne) of Nashville, TN; daughter Janice Vest (David) of Irvine, TX; sisters Shirley Hilderbrandt of Jacksonville, FL, Helen MacAskill of New Port, MN, and Sarah Stroud (Steven) of Cape Canaveral, FL; brother-in-law Floyd Richardson (Oleta) of Wichita Falls, TX; brother Charles H. Bentley (Ava) of Wichita Falls, TX; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her longtime childhood friend Barbara Selby of Ft. Worth, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband Felton Richardson and brothers John F. Bentley, Jr. and David A. Bentley. Esther will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
