Eula Mae Cunningham, 99, of Nashville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her home. She was born on July 5, 1923, to the late Marvin C. and Vera Bostick Gann. Eula loved spending time with her family and sitting on her porch. She was a gifted cook and enjoyed taking care of others. She also grew the most beautiful flowers. Eula was known as “Granny” to all the neighborhood. Granny was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leon Beasley and Frank Cunningham; and one grandson, Dennie Bybee.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Lola Bybee and Lynn Taylor; three grandchildren, Jennifer Hows, Brian Taylor, and Kennie Bybee; seven great-grandchildren, Austin Baker, Shelby Lingle, Mason Hows, Cody Bybee, John Bybee, Morgan Dambro, and Dillon Taylor; two great-great-grandchildren, Finn Lingle and Viviana Baker; four sisters, Jean Mann, Betty Williams, Mary Fowler, and Diane Bell; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 12:00PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the Funeral Home with services beginning at 12:30PM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
