Evelyn G. Dixon - Age 84, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Dixon; daughter, Mary Dixon Foutch; son, David Glenn Dixon; granddaughters, Jennifer Nicole Dixon and Sunday Nicole Dixon; brothers, Wilbur and Henry Gourley.
She is survived by her daughter, Gale Dixon Perry; sons, Eddie (Andrea) Dixon, Allen (Jenise) Dixon and Jody (Lavena) Dixon; brother, Billy Gourley; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was a member of Charlotte Road Baptist Church. Evelyn was a kind and loving mother, who enjoyed fishing and family cookouts. She loved to travel and shop and especially enjoyed remodeling houses with her husband James. She was an avid Titans Fan.
A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Frejosky officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
