Evelyn Faye Stanley Flippen "Trixie" - Born June 22, 1920, departed this earth October 9, 2015. She is preceded in death by husband, James B. Flippen; father, Johnathan Lloyd Stanley and her mother Allie Louise McCormick Stanley; siblings, Betty Jean Stanley Smith, Billie Francis Stanley Bottoms, Howard Stanley, and J.L. Stanley, Jr. She is survived by children, Kenneth (Wanda) Morton and Susan (Dale) Wade; two grandchildren, Robert Allen Ward, II., and Jonna Hargrove; several great and great great grandchildren. Trixie was a graduate of Tennessee School for the Blind, and retired from the State of Tennessee. She was a member of the Hilltop Church of Christ at Bordeaux. The family would like to extended special thanks to the folks at Bordeaux Signature Nursing Home for their love and care for Trixie. A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 1:00pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Chaplain Bud Chumley officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
