Frank Gossett

Frank Gossett - age 94, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014. Mr. Gossett is preceded in death by parents, John Franklin and Rosa Bell Bloodworth Gossett; two brothers and two sisters, and his loving wife of 64 years, Pearl Florine Gossett. He is survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Herschel and Helen Lannom; brother-in-law, Odell Osborne, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was retired from R. L. Polk and Company, where he worked as General Production Manager. He was a lifelong member of West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served the congregation as Elder, Deacon and taught Sunday school for many years. Frank also served in the Army Air Corps in North Africa and Europe during World War II.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 at West Harpeth at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Ricky Page officiating.
Active pallbearers will be John Brevard, Rufus Brewer, Gary Carlton, Ronnie Osborne, Thomas Swann and Ken Swann. Honorary pallbearers will be the Knights of Honor Sunday School class. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
