Frank Mayo

Mayo, Frank G - Age 92 years, passed away September 13, 2016. He was an amazing, loving Christian husband, father and friend. He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Moody Mayo. He leaves behind son, David N Mayo, daughter, Frankie M (Patrick) Williams; grandchildren, Neal (Anna) Mayo, Jennifer (Dave) Young, Brooke (Douglas) Word, Laura Lynn (Andrew) Stubbs, and Christopher Williams; great grandchildren JT, Jackson, Raini, Bowen and Josie Mayo; Kate, Claire and Will Young; Margot Word; Anna Kate and Walker Stubbs; sisters-in-law, Eileen Moody and Claudinia Moody. Frank taught the high school Sunday school class at Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ for over 30 years. He was an elder at Charlotte Avenue and Charlotte Heights for over 50 years. Additionally, he was owner of Mayo Sausage Company and Christian Business Leader of the Year at Lipscomb University. Visitation will be on Friday from 1-3 PM at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ and the service will follow at 3 PM. Active pallbearers will be: Neal Mayo, Dave Young, Douglas Word, Andrew Stubbs, Christopher Williams and Don Newsom. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. The New location of the Church is 6833 Old Charlotte Pike.
