Frederick Reese Watkins - Age 59, passed away August 5, 2014, at his work. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Jean Watkins. Survived by children, Abigail Lauren Watkins (Brantley Graham), of Clarksville, TN; and William Christopher Watkins, of Nashville; father, William T. Watkins, Sr. and stepmother, Margaret Chitwood Watkins, of Nashville; brother, William T. (Anne) Watkins, Jr, of Knoxville, TN; sister, Mary Ann (Buford) Arning, of Statesville, NC; step siblings, Anita Davis, of Mt. Juliet, and Jim Chitwood, of Antioch; several nieces and nephews. Fred was a longtime employee of AT & T Bell South Telephone Company located at Data Center , Brentwood, TN. Fred began his career as a teenager working part time after school. The Life Celebration will be on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at 1pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Sherman officiating. Interment will be Monday, August 11, 2014, at 12pm EST, at Highland Memorial Park in Knoxville, TN. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4-6pm, and on Sunday from 12:30pm until the service time at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike; 352-9400.
