Mr. Gary Bennett, age 67, of Kingston Springs passed away surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, January 17, 2018 . He was born May 15, 1950 in Pulaski, TN to the late James and Mary (Smith) Bennett. Gary attended Charlotte Heights Church and was a member of Shacklett Church of Christ. He served his country in the United States Army and after 23 years of service, retired from Metro Fire Department. Gary's all-time favorite past time is fishing and hunting. He had an intense love of guns, especially hunting rifles and knives. His family remembers his love of eating his favorite food, pizza...and spaghetti.

Gary is survived by his wife, Sherry Bennett; daughter, Kathy Groves (Jason); daughter, Karen Adamson (Jamie); daughter, Kim Anderson (Cody); daughter, Casey Bennett; brother, Ronnie Bennett (Martha); brother, Lonnie Bennett (Beverly); and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 - 4 p.m. Sunday, January 21st and from 12 - 1 p.m. Monday, January 22nd at West Harpeth Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow visitation Monday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with Brother Jeff Smith and Brother Clifford Dobbs officiating. Military Honors will be provided graveside at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens following service.
