Gerald Lee "Jerry" Cathey - Age 75, passed away April 26, 2019 in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Cathey is preceded in death by his parents, John W. Cathey and Eulalia C. Cathey.
Survived by daughters, Keri L. Nollner (Nick), Amy K. Cathey; grandchildren, Nicholas L. Nollner, Tyler J. Nollner; great-granddaughter, Kalani E. Nollner; brother, Roger C. Cathey (Jean); sister, Nancy K. Robinson; brother, David A. Cathey; special friend, Carol Mosley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cathey was a beloved teacher and coach for Metro Nashville Schools for forty plus years.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Hamilton, officiating. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers include: Chris Cathey, Jay Robinson, Tyler Nollner, Nicholas Nollner, Ray Martin, Bob Belew, Jonathan Patterson
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at West Harpeth's Celebration Hall.
