Gerald Hemmer, Sr.

Mr. Gerald Lee Hemmer, Sr. age 85, of White Bluff, TN, passed away on August 29, 2021.

Mr. Hemmer was born in Nashville, TN, on October 24, 1935, the son of the late Henry Lee Hemmer and            Agnes Eloise Heer. He attended the Methodist Church. Mr. Hemmer enjoyed his farms and horses. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hemmer was preceded in death by his son, Michael Morgan Hemmer; two brothers, Donald and Edward Hemmer; a sister, Shirley Gentry; and a son-in-law, Jose Hilario.

Survivors include his son, Gerald Lee Hemmer, Jr.; three daughters, Sherrie Hemmer LaDuke (Steve), Terri Hemmer Cook (Mike), and Jacqueline Hemmer Hilario; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021  at Bluff View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made Cheatham County Animal Control or your local food pantry.
