LCDR. Hardin C. Story - Age 91, Born April 19, 1926, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday July 12, 2017. He was Retired US Navy from 1947-1971.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Story; 2 sons, Richard (Lourdes) Story and Robert (Ester) Story; step daughter, Wanda (Jerry) Yates, and Bobby Romer; brothers, Neal Story and Bobby Story; grandchildren, Kristin Story, Blake Story, Rita Rose Stormm, Jenna Story, Kristi Macaya, Jackie Martyniuk, Tiffany Campbell, David Mays, and Rachel Hannah; and many great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Mamie Story; siblings, Gus (Mary) Story, Irene (Ulys) Beard, JW (Dot) Story, Doil (Skip) Story, Jean (Melvin) Meadows, and Shirley (Frank) Greer.

The Celebration of Life service will be on Monday, July 17, 2017, at 9:30am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Gary Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at 11AM, at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

Active pallbearers will be: Terry Hardin, Wyatt Hardin, Ed Greer, Johnny Beard, Bubba Story and Blake Story. Honorary pallbearers will be: Frank Greer, Dean Stovall, Edward Greer, Hunter Campbell, Harrison Campbell, and Mark Wooten.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to U.S.O. or Alive Hospice.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00pm until 6:00pm, and on Monday from 9:00am until the service time at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
