LISTON, Harry O., S/Sgt. U.S. Army, Age 87 passed away on September 6, 2011. Mr. Liston was born August 15, 1924 to Forrest and Ellen Liston on a large farming community in Southern Illinois. He is a retired employee from Ford Glass Plant after a long career of 33 years. He was a long time member of Bellevue Church of Christ. Preceded in death by a infant son, Michael; daughter, Marcia Liston; parents; grandparents and 8 brothers. He is survived by his loving devoted wife of 64 years, Barbara Gust Liston; 3 loving daughters, Martha Bennett Ronnie, Carol Crowell Mark and Mary Helen Liston; 1 son Kevin Krail Liston Stephanie; 5 adoring granddaughters, Shawna Travis, Lori Byrd, Rebecca Steele, Brooke Scarlett & Brianne Liston; 1 grandson, Blake Liston; 10 precious great-grandchildren, Cassidy Jenkins, Kristina Bennett, Kyle Travis, Katie Jenkins, Bennett Byrd, Seth Bennett, Ashley Travis, Sydney Scarlett, William Scarlett, & Matthew Scarlett; 1 brother; 2 sisters. A Life Celebration will be held 7:00pm Friday at Bellevue Church of Christ 7401 Hwy 70 S, Nashville, TN, 37221. Active Pallbearers are Kevin K. Liston, Blake Liston, Ronnie Bennett, Seth Bennett, Kyle Travis, Bennett Byrd, Ron Travis, Jayson Byrd, Robert Steele, James Scarlett, Matthew Scarlett & William Scarlett. Honorary Pallbearers are Elders & Deacons of Bellevue Church of Christ. Burial will be 10:00am Saturday at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 3:00pm – 7:00pm Friday at the church.
