Hazel Miller Burnett of Nashville, TN passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the age of 89. She was born on April 19, 1930 to the late Travis Miller and Barce Braddon Miller in Putnam County, TN.
Along with her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Gene A. Burnett; son-in-law, Robert Owen Wiseman; and siblings, Ollie Messenger, Hubert Miller, Dorothy Peek, Aubrey Miller, and Dovie Messenger.
She is survived by her daughters, Gina B Wiseman and Janet B Leaver(Gary). Hazel is also survived by her grandchildren, Robbie Shea Wiseman(Eddie), Daniel Austin Wiseman(Page), Ashley Gale Vandohlen, and Keith Lee Vandohlen; and one great grandchild, Merrit M. Wiseman.
Hazel adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. She was a member of West Nashville Freewill Baptist Church. She was also an active member and long standing President of Cohn Senior Renaissance Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 1:00pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home in Nashville. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 11:00am until the hour of service. Hazel will be laid to rest with her husband at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
