Howard Oats

OATS, Howard M. - Age 76 of Lebanon passed away on 3/10/13 at his home. Howard is preceded in death by parents, Howard M. and Gertrude Oats, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survived by wife of 58 years, Vicki Forrester Oats; daughters, Angelia M. Oats, Lebanon, Kimberly Mitchum, Vancouver, WA and son, Howard T. Oats, Lebanon; 1 brother of Dallas, TX; 2 granddaughters and 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews..Truly a man of God. Howard was a people person and worked in the business world all of his adult life, and enjoyed helping others "Rise to the Top" of their ability. Retired in 1999 only to buy several acres and work even harder, but enjoyed even more working on the land as much as working in the public. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, 3/13/13 at 2pm at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME AND MEMORY GARDENS, 9090 Hwy. 100 Nashville, TN 615-646-9292
